Outside Exhibit Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
After much planning and hard work, our outside aircraft exhibit was opened in 2015. The three aircraft featured (the F-100F, the Harrier, and the T-33A) have all been a part of museum assets for years, but until now, there was no place to display them properly.
Annual National Hang Gliding Competition
This past year (2015) the dates were: Sunday, August 2nd to Saturday, August 8th. Great viewing of the launches, generally in the early afternoon each day, weather permitting. As always, this event takes place on the West side of the Big Spring Airport near the Terminal.
