| Hangar 25 Displays on Second Level |
The Hangar 25 mezzanine displays many historic artifacts
Display 1
 |

The displays on the mezzanine are constantly changing; a good thing for artifact preservation and visitor interest, (but it drives the webmaster crazy). Each visit, you will enjoy fresh displays and artifact rotation.
Norden Bombsight
 |

At the outset of the United States involvement in WWII, the Norden bombsight was rated as far superior to any previously designed instrument for computing bomb trajectories. The instruments were so highly classified that they were stored in heavily guarded vaults. When students prepared for training sorties, they had to receive clearance to enter the vault area, and when issued their sights, they exited in pairs accompanied by armed security personnel.
Aircraft Models on Display

We have a very large collection of model aircraft in various scales, presented in three cases on the mezzanine. We are looking for a volunteer who would like to spend some time refurbishing and maintaining (dusting) the models, and keeping the collection arranged and displayed properly. If interested, please see the Volunteer page, or give us a call.
Display 2

This case on the mezzanine is one of several which we use to display our many accessions. Proper museum procedures require that we rotate the contents of our displays periodically, for interest and for artifact preservation.
Display 3

This case on the mezzanine is another one of several which we use to display our many accessions. Again, museum procedures require that we rotate the contents of our displays periodically. Each visit, you will likely see interesting new and different content.
Note: The background image on this page is of the original airport beacon, which is on display in the hangar.
